Maréa was born from a simple idea: women shouldn't have to choose between beautiful design and responsible fashion.

After years spent living between the coastlines of Bali and Australia, founder Mariya Stella struggled to find luxury swimwear that felt elevated, flattering and consciously made. She envisioned a collection that combined minimalist design with exceptional fit, premium recycled fabrics and enduring quality.

Today, Maréa creates luxury sustainable swimwear for women who value craftsmanship over excess. Every bikini and one-piece is thoughtfully designed in Australia and produced in small batches using premium regenerated materials, allowing us to minimise waste while maintaining the highest standard of quality.

Meet the Founder

Maréa Swim was founded by Australian designer Mariya Stella, whose lifelong connection to the ocean has shaped every aspect of the brand.

Inspired by years spent living in Bali and Australia's coastal communities, Mariya set out to create women's swimwear that felt as beautiful as it was functional. She wanted pieces that women could return to season after season — timeless silhouettes crafted from premium recycled swimwear fabrics with an uncompromising focus on fit, comfort and longevity.

As founder and Creative Director, Mariya remains involved in every stage of the design process, from concept to final fit. Her philosophy is simple: create fewer, better pieces that women genuinely love to wear.
